Poetry doesn't make sense.

But it triggers our senses to evoke and emote. I fell into poetry when I realized that it's the ultimate laboratory for language and expression. Poems are only esoteric if you try and decipher them like spells with a hidden meaning, not if you recognize that you infuse them with meaning through your reading. Words and phrases are acoustic elements that play with sounds and semantics, that compose music and decompose expectations.

My work has been featured in Initium Magazine, Humankind Magazine and Fabernovel.com.

I also facilitate corporate poetry + mindfulness workshops to make your team feel 🤯🤩🧘‍♂️

My first book Tongues Tied is a collection of graphic poetry pieces featuring original artwork by Erwan de Beauchaine, under the artistic direction of David Cocciante (Supereasy Studios).

Released on November 11, 2021

Apollo 18

April 2019

After Apollo 17 there were originally 3 more Apollo missions scheduled to fly, they were all cancelled due to budgetary constraints.

Je te dessine du bout des doigts.
My fingers trace the outlines of you,
neat picket fences of atoms ground your outer rim.
Un horizon d’atomes trace l’orée de ton corps
limite arbitraire, contenant d’un territoire de chaire.

Unsure, I gravitate around the event horizon
of the mess of flesh that pulls in light and
myself with delight.
Astronaute des corps terrestres
je gravite attirée par ta légèreté :
un satellite parmi tes lunes.

Flower picking

July 2019

Gauze-like layers
of scalp softly peel away;
petals plucked
strip a mind bare.

The neck sprouts into skull
A stem, it stands exposed:
the stark I

blooms into a cloud
of powdered Self

a puff

blows away
light like fine flour
