On being still to move faster

Just stop and feel the syrup coagulate.

It's mind blowing how being still in the present moment is as powerful a tool for change as what appears to be its flipside, its partner in crime: long term thinking. Both resist being ran after. At best the long term can be a marathon but it should probably be more of a hike (don't forget to hydrate)🚢🏽

I've been having inspiring conversations with friends about finding your bliss to be the most serviceable version of ourselves and the same reminder came up: our 20s aren't/weren't the end of time. (Duh and yet...)

The deep authentic creative self (and I don't mean creative as in arts and crafts I mean like God the Creator) that we're so impatient to embody will likely fully emerge at 40, 50 or 60+. Trusting time will do its work provided we work with time. The slower and stiller you get, the faster we'll get there. Because being still isn't about ignoring the urgency of current affairs, quite the opposite, its about affecting long term transformation, now 🧚 (I mean a caterpillar literally self mummifies to then DIGEST ITSELF before turning into the attention hoe better known as a butterfly)
